Catalyst was conceived and executed by MHS veterans in 2005 solely for the purpose of stimulating improved performance in medical staffing contracts for the Military Health System. We use innovation, best practices, and sheer determination to sustain flexibility, responsiveness to our clients, and performance consistently above 95%. The company’s name is deliberately chosen – we came here to change the game, not just play it.
As a result, we have grown quickly to support over 150 providers, of 27 provider types, in over 20 Army, Navy and VA facilities in 18 states coast to coast. Among these, Catalyst is executing several of the most innovative medical staffing contracts in the DoD – including developing and specializing in OPTEMPO, just-in-time delivery of all provider types to support commanders in contingency backfill and surge operations.
The infrastructure required to sustain 95% fill rates in these environments is unprecedented; we are adapting, testing, refining and reinforcing it continuously. It works. Our goal is to mainstream these techniques and firmly establish a stable new operational tool and vendor base for Commanders and Contracting officials.
